We'll start out with a self-guided emotional wellness inquiry to help you create your own treasure map to greater vitality, joy and ease in the processing of your emotions.
From there, with my guidance and support, you'll chart your course for the coming 8 weeks to determine where you wish to primarily focus, explore, make changes and get into action healing the parts of you that are asking for your attention.
Emotional well-being IS a foundation that needs not be overlooked, but oftentimes is, even by those already well along their awakening/healing path.
What we'll cover:
You understand, intellectually, how exercise impacts brain chemistry and therefore directly impacts your emotional well-being, but are you actually IN MOTION?
Together, we'll dive into ways to integrate more daily movement into your life, that aligns with your phsycial ability and preference, so you can begin experiencing what it's like to feel those e-motions (energy-in-motion) move through your body.
Allow yourself to experience what happens when your brain is pumping those feel-good, naturally occurring chemicals through your brain. Both somatic movement & what is more traditionally considered "exercise" are explored and experienced - and integrated into your daily routine - to help support this vital foundation to your emotional well-being.
Another often overlooked foundational piece to emotional health, sleep - solid sleep - is crucial for the emotional and mental bodies to perform optimally.
If you struggle here, we'll prioritize this to find solutions that work for YOU. I have a whole bag of tricks that WILL change the quality of your sleep.
Rest is of great importance too and in our busy culture has been neglected for many of us. Learning to tune into your own body's rhythm is one of the most beautiful gifts you can give to your physical health. If you have a hard time slowing down or feel tired often, this may be a great place to start.
Tied directly to your sense of safety & security, understanding your unique Nervous System and finding support and tools to help regulate it is paramount to emotional well-being. A gentle exploration of finding what soothes your soul and helps you feel more at home in your physical AND emotional body.
How sense of purpose directly impacts your emotional body. Explore what is driving you and how to stay connected to that part of yourself. What motivates you to get out of bed everyday; what lights you UP? Experimenting with these things and learning to prioritize them shifts so much in the day-to-day experience, which impact your weeks, months and years!
Are any of these things missing in your life? Examine what brings a sense of adventure and play to your life and explore how to more consciously create your “perfect day”.
Close relationships - with your partner, friends and/or family - are an important part of this exploration? Who do you want to play with more and how do you want to play?
Your brain needs nutrient-dense nourishment to support your emotional body. Explore simple changes to your diet that can have a huge impact on your emotional health.
How well do you really know yourself? If the answer is, “not really; I’ve been busy taking care of everyone else,”or something along these lines, this path of exploration will yield BIG results…you may surprised what you find! With ample areas to dig into, your Soul will lead the way here; what you inherently feel called to are clues to the gifts you have to experience and share with the world!
